An online seminar was organized on Feb. 28th to informally discuss culture and heritage conservation, inviting Dr. Foster at University of California – Davis. Researchers at Kanazawa University briefly introduced their research areas and interests – heritage communication and traditional Turkish fabric – and received comments and questions from audiences. Dr. Foster and other audiences offered their perspectives and research findings in regard to the presentation topics and deepened understanding of the maintenance of transforming cultures in the global industrialized society. Culture is not static but represents dynamism of our society. New insights were brought to the participants through the conversations.
